My Approach:

I offer a bespoke service. After an initial assessment I will recommend an approach and pathway to change. I work with children or parents 1-1, family groups and multiple family members 1-1. I will coach parents and set a tailored programme for success.

I have a proven track record of changing the lives of families and young people in schools, through parenting courses, by child and family therapy and with Women's Aid. I have worked with schools, families and young people since 1996.

Services for Families

Therapy is useful for children, young people and adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties and circumstances including:

  • Couple relationship difficulties
  • Child and adolescent mental health issues
  • Adult mental health issues
  • Child, adolescent and adult behaviour difficulties
  • Parenting issues
  • Illness and disability in the family
  • Separation, divorce and step-family relations
  • Fostering, adoption, and the needs of ‘looked after’ children
  • Domestic violence and abuse
  • Self-harm
  • Drug and alcohol misuse
  • The effects of trauma
  • Difficulties related to ageing and other life cycle change.

I also advise on child behaviour, SEN, supporting school students and parent-school communication.
