Anger Management

We all can change, and one of the most effective therapies in my experience is Anger Management.

Anger is an important emotion in everyone's life, but it can be the most destructive. It gives us the energy to change whatever needs changing in our lives, relationships and environments; but anger can also destroy our options, limit our choices and hurt those around us.

However, many of us do not do anger well! Anger is too often aggressive, violent, loud, nasty, unpleasant and/or destructive; or inward, painful, scary, paralysing and/or anxious.

We can all learn to do anger well.

We can all change our lives by improving our relationship with anger.

I have worked with clients who have saved relationships, rescued careers, improved the lives of their families and turned away from a path leading to the courts by learning how to deal with anger in a positive way.

However, Anger Management should not be just about holding anger in!

Anger Management should not be a one size fits all 'course', as anger issues have a diversity of causes...and without understanding the cause a course could make your life worse.

I will work with you to understand the the cause of your issue and deal with it precisely.

Common Anger Issues:

  • Violent Anger
  • Over Sensitivity to Stimulus
  • Lack of Empathy
  • Holding Anger in (then Exploding)
  • Passivity
  • Lack of Assertiveness
  • Passive Aggression
  • Over Personalised Reaction to Others
  • Communication Diffculties
  • Lack of Awareness of the Build up of Tension
  • Stess and Anxiety
  • The Need for Control and Power
  • Expressing Anger in an Aggressive way
  • Impossible Expectations of Self and/or Others
  • PTSD
  • Childhood Issues

Anger Management is too improtant to delay.
